Position Overview
Our Theme Parks and Resorts provide a variety of shows, greetings, and parades featuring Disney Characters, Disney animated Character "look-alikes," Parade Performers and Puppeteers. Being a Character Performer at Walt Disney World is more than bringing the Character to life for our Guests, it is having the belief that you truly create the magic. This is a chance to take center stage.
Disney animated Character "look-alikes" have the opportunity to fulfill the dreams of millions of people who are drawn to the magic and mystique of Disney. We are looking for smiling faces to bring to life the heroes and heroines from classic Disney animated films. Strong candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height and personality; have a positive attitude and a good speaking voice.
Disney Animated Character "look-alikes," Parade Performers and Puppeteers are required to perform as fur costumed Character Performers.
Auditions
We're looking for performers for openings at all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Auditions are held frequently in the Central Florida area. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Interested candidates should contact the Disney Jobline at (407) 828-1000 to schedule an interview. Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an audition. The audition is based on movement and animation ability. Applicants must be prepared to participate in a short movement and an animation exercise. Candidates may be identified for Disney animated Character 'look-alikes' at any audition or attend one of our quarterly open call auditions. Puppeteer auditions are held as needed. Height ranges are between 4'8" and 6'3" with added consideration to candidates between 4'8" - 5'0".
