Dawn Marchand is a Supplier Diversity & Sustainability Specialist for The Walt Disney Company.  In this position, she is responsible for developing and facilitating sustainable sourcing strategies that support Disney’s overall environmental objectives.

Additionally, Ms. Marchand is responsible for leading the Supplier Diversity efforts for the Media Networks, New Media Technology and Marketing teams in identifying qualified diverse suppliers for sourcing opportunities.  She also acts as the team’s liaison into the Hispanic business community.
 
Prior to joining Disney, Dawn worked for Cal Safety Compliance Corporation where she managed global training and development for social compliance programs.  She also focused on country risk research and analyses based on global audit findings and conducted environmental analyses.  Prior to that, she held various marketing and sales positions at Nestlé.

Dawn is an alumna of Western Michigan University, receiving her degree from the Haworth College of Business where she double majored in Marketing and Spanish.  She also studied at the University of Burgos, in Burgos, Spain.  Dawn serves on the Board of the California Diversity Council and is a member of Net Impact.
