The economic, social and political factors that can contribute to adverse working conditions in factories around the world are too broad and complex for any one organization to overcome. While we believe our ILS program is a sound approach to the promotion of responsible working conditions, we also believe that working with others interested in this important area offers the best long-term prospects for making real progress. Accordingly, we encourage and participate in a variety of collaborative efforts to strengthen global labor standards.
