Throughout April 2004, employees and Guests around the world celebrated EnvironmentalityTM Month and the 34th anniversary of Earth Day. Celebrated annually on April 22nd, Earth Day began in 1970 to "shake up the political establishment and force this issue onto the national agenda" as stated by Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson, then a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin. As a symbol of our Company's commitment to EnvironmentalityTM, special events and activities are hosted throughout the month of April to bring environmental initiatives to the forefront of daily operations and encourage individual action from employees, Cast Members, and Guests.

Environmentality Is Making a Difference!
Each year, a poster featuring the Earth Day 2004 artwork is created to display at events where Earth Day buttons are distributed to Cast Members, employees, and Guests. In 2004, buttons were distributed in more than 500 locations around the world. more>>

Studio Employees and Their Children Participate in 2nd Annual Recycled Products Sculpture Challenge
Corporate Environmental Policy partnered with Disney University to host a special Earth Day booth at The Walt Disney Studios Bring Your Child to Work Day Event. Disneyland Resort Paris Cast Members Celebrate Environnementalité
The Disneyland Resort Paris Quality Management Department hosted a two-day event themed, "A Recycled Life for Wastes." The expo was held Backstage for Cast Members, and featured a variety of environmental vendors and a traveling expo bus that allowed Cast Members around property to discover the benefits of recycling. more>>
