Lifetime’s Sunday night hit original series, The Division
and Strong Medicine, are among the top-rated original
dramas on basic cable. In 2002, Lifetime launched the new legal
drama For the People. Lifetime’s documentaries, specials
and daytime talk/magazine series, Lifetime Now and Lifetime’s
Speaking of Women’s Health, proved extremely popular.
The network introduced a new reality series, Final Justice.
Last season’s Lifetime Original Movies included We Were
the Mulvaneys, starring Blythe Danner and Beau Bridges. Both
received Emmy nominations for their performances. Lifetime has become
a leading force uniting women on critical issues through its public
advocacy efforts, such as raising breast cancer awareness, encouraging
self-esteem among women and girls and its new campaign to stop violence
against women.
