In 2002, DisneyVacations.com continued to grow as a consumer sales
channel for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts vacation packages and
tickets. Sales volume climbed significantly as a result of new product
offerings and promotions. To drive continued growth, the organization
improved its online infrastructure and began a phased relaunch of
DisneyVacations Web sites, featuring enhanced capabilities and a
greater degree of integration with other marketing and sales channels.
