With a continued focus on building its licensing and consumer products businesses, ESPN created ESPN GameStation with Fisher-Price®, a six-in-one indoor game center for kids ages five and up, which features major sports as well as 21 arcade-style games. An ESPN Books division was formalized with the release of ESPN25 — 25 Mind-Bending, Eye-Popping, Culture-Morphing Years of Highlights; and ESPN achieved record sales with its NFL 2K5 video game. Also launched was ESPN Russell Racing Schools with Jim Russell Racing.
In conjunction with EOE and Buena Vista Home Entertainment, a DVD series for ESPN's dramatic series Playmakers was released, along with other ESPN titles.
