Jeff Smith is Deputy General Counsel, Corporate and Parks & Resorts of The Walt Disney Company and oversees all legal matters for Disney's Parks and Resorts segment, as well as the legal functions associated with corporate transactions, real estate, and information technology for Disney.
Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Jeff was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Walt Disney World Resort and was responsible for all legal matters related to Disney's Florida operations, Disney Cruise Line and Disney Vacation Club.
Before relocating to Florida, he focused on a wide variety of real estate, financing and complex commercial transactions, including the negotiation of stadium and arena agreements for The Anaheim Angels and The Mighty Ducks, financing arrangements for the Disneyland Paris Resort, as well as entitlements and public financing for Disney's California Adventure theme park.
A native of California and graduate of Stanford University and UCLA School of Law, he joined The Walt Disney Company legal staff in 1987.
