As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Spencer Neumann is responsible for leading the Finance, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants, Global Business Technology Strategy and Global Business Development organizations as well as all fiscal and fiduciary functions for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
Prior to re-joining Disney, Spencer worked in private equity, primarily focused on the media, consumer and online space. Most recently, he served as a principal for Providence Equity Partners, where he managed the West Coast for the leading media-focused private equity firm. Prior to that, he served as a principal with Summit Partners.
Earlier in his career, Spencer held several different roles with The Walt Disney Company. During his tenure with Disney, Spencer served as Executive Vice President, ABC Television Network; Chief Financial Officer, the Walt Disney Internet Group; and Vice President, Head of Business Operations, Anaheim Sports, Inc. He first joined The Walt Disney Company in 1992 as a member of Disney's Strategic Planning and Development group.
Spencer received both his Bachelor of Arts in economics and Master of Business Administration from Harvard University where he was a Baker Scholar.
