Since 2005, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts' Executive Committee has acted as the leadership body for the Parks and Resorts segment worldwide, providing strategic direction and growth objectives for the business. Each Committee member has global segment-wide responsibilities for one or more key business functions.

The global nature of the segment leadership allows for better alignment of internal operations and opportunities to capitalize on future growth opportunities in the expanding global family vacation market. The Executive Committee's role is critical in managing the realties of today's global marketplace and facilitating the implementation of a consistent set of best business practices throughout the segment, including the ability to efficiently roll out new creative projects, and anticipate changes in travel trends.
