Toon Disney's Passport to Reading was created to inspire a lifelong love of reading among children.

Toon Disney's Passport to Reading Toon Disney's Passport to Reading was created to inspire a lifelong love of reading among children. Libraries can launch a new reading program or complement their existing reading programs with Toon Disney's Passport to Reading. Children are encouraged to visit their local libraries to pick up a "passport" that can be stamped with reward stickers featuring popular Toon Disney characters. In 2004, Newbery Award winning author Avi joined Toon Disney to read from his book "Crispin: The Cross of Lead" and speak about the importance of reading.
