The International Labor Standards program assesses factories that make products sold at a wide range of retail stores.

The Walt Disney Company aims to foster safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces. In support of this, the company has established a Code of Conduct for Manufacturers and operates an International Labor Standards (ILS) program designed to address working conditions for people making Disney-branded product, including factories that are not owned by Disney and are associated with vendors and licensees with whom we do business.

Our ILS program involves employees and cast members who have sourcing or licensing responsibility throughout our business areas, as well as a dedicated staff of ILS specialists in 10 sites around the world.

We encourage you to learn more about our ILS program in the Workplaces section of our 2008 Corporate Responsibility Report. Additionally, you may refer to these Frequently Asked Questions about our ILS program.
