Disney Online (DOL), a division within WDIG, is responsible for developing magical experiences on Disney.com where kids and their parents connect with the Disney brand to play, learn, and explore. Pirates of the Caribbean Online, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), is slated for release in 2007. The game is based on the popular film franchise and will allow players to experience the world captured on screen. Introduced
in November 2005, Disney's Game Café (www.disneysgamecafe.com) is Disney Online's first downloadable games collection and Web site specifically tailored for a "grown-up" audience. Disney's Game Café is an extension of Disney Online's Disney Game Downloads (www.disneygamedownloads.com) and currently includes more than 50 games which players can easily download and play offline with friends and family.
