GO NETWORK LAUNCHES AFFILIATE PROGRAM TO BROADEN CONSUMER EXPOSURE

GO Network Makes High Quality Content and Valuable Features Available to Affiliate Internet Site

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Dec. 29, 1999. GO Network (www.go.com), part of GO.com, today announced an affiliate program that enables business or personal Web site owners to add certain GO Network content to their own site free of charge. The affiliate program (http:/affiliate.go.com/) allows participating Web sites to easily add selected premium content and special features from GO Network, such as Web search, daily weather forecasts, stock quotes, translation services, movie times or a recipe finder. For example, a Web site about skiing could offer additional functionality to its users with GO Network's weather forecast feature.

Search remains the most popular activity on the Web, and GO Network's affiliate program makes available the powerful and award-winning GO Network search capabilities to affiliate visitors, allowing a broader set of consumers to experience more of what the Web has to offer right on their favorite sites.

"For affiliates, this program will direct their visitors to the highest quality branded content, and information on the Web," said Kevin Mayer, executive vice president and general manager of GO Network. "Conversely, this affords GO Network the opportunity to access more consumers and provide them with the benefits of a one-stop Internet experience."

Becoming a GO Network affiliate is easy. Affiliates apply and, once approved, place a drop-in search box or banner on their site. Affiliates receive a nominal fee based on the click through rate.
